I typically only purchase music when I'm at a show, and I only do that to support the musicians and to encourage them to come back to town...and most of the time I don't even bother taking off the plastic unless I'm getting the cd autographed. However, the last one that I purchased was a cd/dvd combo from a funky band called Rubblebucket. If you click on this link you'll get to see one of the songs from the dvd:

very cool JackDog. I havent got around to checking out all
the bands from All Good this year. Thanks to Mando (and
others I cant remember right now), I have digested some Railroad Earth (not sure bout them still...), some Pimps of
Joytime (cant wait to see them) and now, thanks to you, I
have been throw into the Rubblebucket. That is a band I
can dig: great sound. Thanks for the rec, and for
supporting the bands locally.

To answer the Q: last purchase (NOT including the Gigabytes
downloading currently) was Zakir Hussain. Local purchase as well, to tie into JackDogs good reasoning.

Any other dont miss/under the radar bands suggests from
anyone? L ettuce? The Lumineers?
